Privacy Policy

Effective date: [Set to the date this page is published] Site: Amberaisle — https://amberaisle.com/ Publisher: Amberaisle, edited by Emma Hudson, based in the United States.

This policy explains what information Amberaisle collects when you visit, and how it is used. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the site.

Information you provide

If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to send — typically your name, email address, and message. We use it only to reply to you. We do not sell your messages or contact details.

Information collected automatically

When you visit, standard technical information is logged by the services that run this site — for example the pages you visit, your approximate location (from your IP address), and your device and browser type. This is used to keep the site working securely and to understand, in aggregate, which content is useful.

The processors involved are only:

  • Hosting — Hostinger: the company that hosts this website. Hostinger may log visits for security and reliability purposes.
  • Website platform: Amberaisle is a static website, served as pre-built pages. The site itself does not run user accounts or a database, and does not collect personal information about visitors beyond what is described here.
  • Security and delivery — Cloudflare: requests to this site pass through Cloudflare, which provides content delivery and protection against attacks. Cloudflare may process IP addresses and request data to provide that security service.

Cookies

This site uses only cookies that are strictly necessary for it to function and be secured (for example, cookies set by Cloudflare for security purposes). Amberaisle does not currently use advertising cookies, and does not use analytics or tracking tools. If that changes, this policy and our Cookie Information page will be updated first, and any consent mechanism required will be put in place before non-essential tracking begins.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some security features of the site may not work as intended.

Advertising and analytics — current status

This site does not currently show third-party advertising, and no Google AdSense, Google Analytics, or similar tools are in use. Before any such tool is enabled, this policy will be revised to describe it accurately.

Articles may link to external sites (for example official sources). Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.

Data retention and your choices

  • Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to reply and keep a record of the conversation, then deleted.
  • You can ask us to delete a message you sent by contacting us from the same email address.
  • You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Children’s privacy

This site is a general informational site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the effective date above and publish the revised policy on this page. Significant changes will be noted here.
